Make sure you are using the right symbol
Do not choose a nearby symbol because it looks close. Match the exact shape under the pointer. Two pairs on this panel are easy to tell apart wrongly:
Both have a pointed top and two feet. On one the middle band runs straight across; on the other it breaks in the center and curves down.
Both are round. The difference is inside the outline, so compare the marks in the middle rather than the shape around them.
Keep the callout short

Let the player who can see it pick
If you can see the panel, use the visual picker yourself. Describing a shape out loud is slower and easier to get wrong than tapping it.

Agree on a reference first
If your team calls out symbol numbers, agree on the same numbering before the run.

Answer with the color
Reply with just the color: “Press green.”

Match the exact shape under the pointer, not the one beside it.
Using the wrong stage
The same symbol can require a different color on another stage.
Reading the manual row as the symbol
Do not rely only on the row position in the manual — match the symbol shape.
Thinking the answer did not update
Two stages can ask for the same color. If the answer looks unchanged, check the stage you selected — it may simply be the same color again.
