Why does BOMBANANA use three players?

BOMBANANA is built around incomplete information. Each player has a different limitation, so no one person has everything needed to solve the bomb alone.

The team has to pass visual, audible, and tactile information between the three roles while the bomb is running.

That's why the player count is part of the puzzle design rather than just a lobby preference.

How the three-player setup works

  1. A player sees or holds one clue
  2. The team communicates
  3. Another player adds the missing piece
  4. A third player acts on the module

In a module like Color Slider, that is Mute reading the manual rule, Deaf reporting the colors on the panel, and Blind carrying out the numbered sequence.

Different modules ask the team to combine information held by different players. That's why short, consistent callouts matter more than one player trying to do everything.
